While the seeker remains the active subject, God becomes the instrument (alat) or sensory capacity through which the seeker acts, perceives, and knows (alluding to the famous Hadith al-Nawafil, where God declares, 'I become his hearing and his sight').
2. Proximity of Obligatory Acts (Qurb-e Fara'iz): A higher station where the seeker's individual identity is completely annihilated (fana) in the Divine Essence. Here, God is the ultimate agent, and the servant serves as the instrument.
