In Section 73 of Selselat al-Dhahab (within Haft Awrang), Jami elaborates on the Prophetic Hadith that likens a believer to a honeybee. Jami highlights two core spiritual principles:

1. Purity of Consumption and Production: Just as a bee feeds exclusively on pure flowers and produces sweet honey, a true believer consumes only wholesome sustenance, overlooks the faults of others to focus on their virtues, and utters sweet, constructive words.
2. Spiritual Affinity: Jami links this purity to the Quranic principle of spiritual congruence (Al-khabithat li'l-khabithin), asserting that individuals are naturally drawn to their own spiritual kind. The saintly (awliya) seek the company of the saintly, while the wretched (ashqiya) are drawn to the wretched.
