Triangulation

Triangulation is a strategy within mixed-methods research that involves using both quantitative and qualitative methods simultaneously to investigate the same general question. By comparing the results from these distinct approaches, researchers can determine whether the findings converge to reinforce and enrich the same conclusion, or diverge to prompt new questions regarding why the outcomes differ and how they can be reconciled.
