Two Primary Causes of Increased Inflation from Equilibrium

When an economy is at its inflation-stabilizing rate of unemployment, an increase in the inflation rate can be attributed to one of two primary causes. These factors disrupt the existing equilibrium, where unemployment is stable, and initiate a period of rising prices.
