Scene schema

We reason with schema such as permission schema which is the notion that: if something meets some sort of requirement, then it is able to do something. An example is the legal drinking age: if someone is 21 then they can drink alcohol.

A role schema is a mental construct that involves making assumptions about how individuals occupying specific roles are expected to behave.

An event schema, also known as a cognitive script, is a mental framework detailing the sequence of behaviors expected in a specific situation (Schank & Abelson, 1977).
