Validity of the DERS-36 in Adolescent Females with Eating Disorders
Results from best fitting bifactor model showed that general factor in DERS-36 was strongly associated with eating pathology (36.8%). Clarity significantly contributed in accounting for eating pathology. General factor was strongly linked to emotional symptoms (44.5%). Subfactors accounted for an additional 1% beyond the general factor, where Clarity, Goals, and Strategies were statistically significant contributors on their own.
