Wage Determination with Costless Effort in the Labour Discipline Model

In the labour discipline model, if an employee's effort entails no personal cost (c=0c = 0), the employer only needs to offer a wage equal to the employee's reservation wage (wrw_r). Since there is no disutility of effort to compensate for, the reservation wage is the minimum payment required to persuade the employee to accept the job and work, without requiring an additional employment rent to deter shirking.
