Concept

Zero Product Property for Three or More Factors

The Zero Product Property also applies to equations involving the product of three or more factors. If the product of several factors is zero, then at least one of those factors must be zero. This principle makes it possible to solve some polynomial equations of a degree greater than two, using the same procedure applied to solve quadratic equations.
