Finding a Column Player's Best Responses

To determine the best responses for a column player in a payoff matrix, the analysis proceeds one column at a time. Each column represents a fixed choice by the row player. For each of these choices, the column player must compare their own potential payoffs (typically the second number in each cell of the column) and select the action that yields their highest reward. This chosen action is their best response to that specific strategy from the row player.
