CBD psychopharmacological effects as treatment for Bipolar Affective Disorder
CBD has demonstrated anticonvulsant effects comparable to effective drugs in animal models. In a small clinical study, oral CBD added to the treatment of 15 patients with uncontrolled epilepsy showed significant seizure reduction in four patients and partial improvement in three others. No changes were observed in the placebo group.
