Comparing Methods for Determining Strategic Choices

Imagine a scenario where two individuals must each make a choice, and the outcome for each person depends on the combination of both choices. Two common tools are used to analyze this situation: a table showing the numerical outcomes (payoffs) for every possible combination of choices, and a graph with indifference curves showing each person's preferences for the different outcomes. Compare and contrast these two tools for determining one person's single best choice, assuming they know what the other person will choose. In your answer, discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each method.
