Constraints in a Coercive Labor Model

In an economic model of forced labor, a landowner uses the threat of harm to compel a worker to produce grain. The landowner claims the entire output, providing the worker only with the minimum amount of grain needed to survive and continue working. Explain why the worker's biological survival needs act as a constraint on the landowner's power to maximize their own share of the grain.
