The Feasible Frontier and Allocations under Coercion (Figure 5.9)

Figure 5.9 illustrates the feasible frontier for production in a scenario where Angela can be forced to work. The graph's horizontal axis represents Angela's free time (0-24 hours), and the vertical axis shows the bushels of grain produced (0-70). The frontier itself is a downward-sloping, concave curve connecting the points (0, 64) and (24, 0). Any point on or inside this frontier is a possible allocation, specifying the division of outcomes: how much free time and grain Angela receives, and how much grain Bruno receives. Bruno has the power to decide on the allocation, as he controls Angela's work and owns all the grain she produces.
