Members of the Paediatric Tuberculosis Network European Trials Group (ptbnet) were invited to share COVID-19 morbidity information. Patients aged 18 years and younger with an RT-PCR confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection in any clinical sample (e.g., respiratory tract, blood, stool, or cerebrospinal fluid) were eligible. The researchers used non-parametric two-tailed Mann-Whitney U tests for continuous variables and $X^2$ or Fisher’s exact tests for categorical variables. The 95% confidence interval for the case-fatality rate was calculated using the Wald method.
