External Focus as a Procter & Gamble Principle

Under the principle 'We Are Externally Focused,' P&G states that it develops a superior understanding of consumers and their needs, creates and delivers products, packaging, and concepts that build winning brand equities, and develops close, mutually productive relationships with its customers and suppliers. P&G also states that it is a good corporate citizen and that it incorporates sustainability into its products, packaging, and operations.
