Calculating Angela's Final Consumption Under a Tenancy Contract

When Angela operates under a tenancy contract with a fixed rent payment (c0c_0), her final level of consumption is what remains after paying the rent. Since her quasi-linear preferences mean her choice of work hours (tt^*) and thus her total grain production (g(24t)g(24-t^*)) are unaffected by the rent, her final consumption (cc) can be calculated by simply subtracting the rent from her total output. The corresponding formula is c=g(24t)c0c = g(24-t^*) - c_0.
