Glycohydrolases

Glycohydrolase is an enzyme that breaks down complex sugars into simpler sugars by hydrolyzing glycosidic bonds. An example is Hyaluronidase S found in Staphylococcus aureus Hyaluronidase degrades hyaluronic acid that cements cells together to promote spread.
