Hierarchical Distribution of Spoils on the Royal Rover (Article X)

Article X of the Royal Rover's articles established a clear hierarchy for the distribution of captured prizes. The captain and quartermaster were entitled to two shares each. The master, boatswain, and gunner received one and a half shares, while other officers were allotted one and a quarter shares. All other crew members received a single share, known as their dividend.
