A Hyperlink is an element in a hypertext page that anchors to other hypertext pages. Users can mouse click, key press, or screen touch a hyperlink to navigate to the corresponding pages.

Although it is conventionally called "Hypertext," other types of content, such as tables, images, video, ... are usually included in hypertext pages. For this purpose, some people use the term "Hypermedia."
