Impact of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction on Trait and State Anxiety

MBSR has been demonstrated to be effective in reducing both trait and state anxiety of trauma-exposed, low-income women. Participants’ anxiety decreased significantly at the completion of the MBSR program as well as four weeks after completing the program.
