Intergroup Contact Effect on Reducing Workplace Prejudice

Although prejudice can exist between members of different groups, evidence suggests that working together can reduce or eliminate such prejudice, particularly when work conditions are set carefully. Pettigrew and Tropp (2006) conducted a meta-analysis on whether contact between groups reduced prejudice and found a moderate but significant effect.
