Measurements of Autistics' Experience in College
From the research that uses firsthand accounts from autistic undergraduates, two surveys exist:
- The NLTS-2 survey uses a representative sample of all students who received special education services beginning in middle or high school. Data from this test is limited by the wide range of disabilities other than autism that are represented, and the scarcity of information on the students' personal impression of college. Therefore, the test is most useful when paired with direct comments from autistic students.
- Smaller surveys provide more sufficient perceptions from the students themselves.
