Psychoticism vs. Superego Control Dimension in Eysenck's Theory

This third dimension in Eysenck's personality theory contrasts psychoticism with superego control. Individuals scoring high on psychoticism are characterized as independent thinkers who may also be cold, nonconforming, impulsive, antisocial, and hostile. In contrast, those scoring high on superego control exhibit strong impulse management and are described as more altruistic, empathetic, cooperative, and conventional.
