Jami presents the Divine Reality as pure and absolute Being: the one existence that does not depend on anything else. Everything in the created or metaphorical realm possesses existence only through this self-sufficient source and therefore remains contingent and dependent.

The supplication also holds together divine immanence and transcendence. God is intimately present to all beings, like the soul within the body, yet remains beyond names, signs, comparisons, and conceptual distinctions such as high and low or pure and impure. Thus, divine Being sustains every existent without becoming limited by the forms through which it appears.
