Reporting Research Results
According to the APA Ethics Code, researchers must uphold scholarly integrity when disseminating their findings. This standard explicitly prohibits the fabrication of data. Furthermore, if psychologists discover significant errors in their already published data, they are ethically obligated to take reasonable steps to correct those errors through a formal correction, retraction, erratum, or other appropriate publication means.
