عقد سی و یکم در حلم / The Thirty-First Knot: On Forbearance (Hilm)

Within Jami's Silsilat al-Dhahab (part of the Haft Awrang), this treatise-knot (عقد) elaborates the virtue of forbearance and tolerance (حلم). It follows the supplication that transitions the seeker from humility (تواضع) into forbearance, and it grounds the substantive teaching that the surrounding transitional supplications (مناجات) only frame. Hilm is presented as the ethical station of restraining anger, mastering the self, and meeting provocation with patience rather than revenge — the counterpart in this sequence to the Knots on Generosity (28th), Contentment (29th), and Humility (30th).
