Section 102 - Supplication on Transitioning from Forbearance to Joy and Cheerful Countenance

Original content

English translation

O You by whose wisdom everyone leans back against a mountain, No group is without support from that mountain. The mountain of Your forbearance echoes with benevolence, The soul is the mother of the body, and the body dances because of it. From that melody, we are all intoxicated in spiritual dance, We have all bidden farewell to body and soul. Angels and kings are in spiritual dance like us, Its revolution is greater than the turning of the heavens. Any spiritual dance that is not eternal Is not spiritual dance, but mere confusion. Stamping the foot against one's own existence Is indeed kicking and crushing one's own head. Jami has lost himself by his own hand, And has become abased from the trampling of his selfhood. Deliver him from the trampling of his own self, And release him from the anxiety of his good and bad. Even though he portrays himself as possessing certainty, There are a hundred knots of doubt upon his brow. Remove the veil from the eyes of his certainty, And untie the knot of his heart from his brow.
