ای غمت شادی دولتمندان
لب امید به یادت خندان
باد یک شمه ز لطفت گفته
باغ را غنچه دل بشکفته
می گشایی به سر انگشت کرم
از جبین ها گره غصه و غم
بستن از توست و گشادن از تو
خاستن از تو فتادن از تو
تا در خلق نبندی بر ما
فتح بابی نپسندی بر ما
جامی اکنون ز خود و خلق نفور
خواهد از تو شرف فر حضور
تیز بین ساز بدانسان بصرش
که تو باشی همه جا در نظرش
هیچ چیزش ز تو مانع نشود
جز به دیدار تو قانع نشود
همه جا از همه رو در همه کس
جلوه نور تو را بیند و بس
نفرت او ز همه کم گردد
الفتش با همه محکم گردد
English translation
O You whose sorrow is the joy of the fortunate, The lip of hope is smiling at Your remembrance. Should the breeze speak a whisper of Your grace, The heart's bud of the garden would blossom. With the fingertip of generosity, You untie The knot of grief and sorrow from the brows. Binding is from You, and opening is from You; Rising is from You, and falling is from You. Until You close the door of creation upon us, You do not approve the opening of a door to us. Jami, now weary of himself and of creation, Seeks from You the honor of the glory of Your presence. Make his vision so sharp-sighted That You are everywhere in his view. May nothing hinder him from You, May he be content with nothing but the sight of You. Everywhere, from every aspect, in everyone, May he see only the manifestation of Your light. May his aversion to everyone diminish, And his intimacy with all become firm.
