Self-Actualization in Humanistic Psychology

In humanistic psychology, self-actualization is the process by which an individual achieves their full potential. According to Abraham Maslow, this represents the highest-level need in his hierarchy of human needs, a state that people strive to achieve after their more basic physiological and psychological needs have been met.
