State Capitalism

State capitalism is a capitalist economic system in which the state owns or controls substantial capital and directs economic activity toward political and economic objectives. Private enterprises and markets may continue to operate, but the state plays a dominant role through state-owned enterprises and interventions that guide investment and control key industries.
