Welfare Capitalism

Welfare capitalism is an economic system that combines a market-based capitalist economy with comprehensive social welfare policies. While it retains the core capitalist institutions of private property and markets, the government plays a significant role in protecting and promoting the economic and social well-being of its citizens. This is achieved through mechanisms like progressive taxation, public healthcare, universal education, and extensive social safety nets to reduce inequality and guarantee a minimum standard of living.
