Information literacy refers to an individual's ability to identify an information need, then find, access, recover, evaluate, organize, and use the information 
To be information literate, one needs to have critical thinking, comprehension, and abstraction skills. 

Information Literacy 

The ability to access, evaluate, and use digital information, tools, and systems.

Digital Literacy

The ability to manage one's health and to properly make informed health care decisions about one's body and mind.

Health Literacy 

The ability to manage one's finances and make responsible choices involving money and wealth.

Financial Literacy

The ability to evaluate and access information via mass media.

Visual Literacy

Civic literacy encompasses the knowledge and skills required to understand the functions and processes of government; keep informed on civic issues; understand and exercise the rights and obligations of citizenship; understand the local, state, national, and global impact of decisions; and successfully and equitably engage with a diverse society.

Civic Literacy

The broad set of geography-based knowledge that allow learners to understand the world and its interconnections, as well as make sound decisions personally and professionally.
