Watson's Extension of Conditioning
Inspired by Pavlov's studies on animal reflexes, John B. Watson proposed that the mechanics of learning apply equally to people. He theorized that human actions are fundamentally shaped by learned associations, and he maintained that classical conditioning techniques could be utilized to train emotional reactions in humans.
