Corbett & Hill (2012) Gender Pay Gap Study

Corbett & Hill (2012) studied the gender pay gap in the first year after college in the United States and found that women earn about 82 cents for every dollar a man earns. After correcting for human capital factors such as education and career choices, the study identified an unexplained seven-cents-on-the-dollar gap that can be attributed to gender discrimination.
