Developmental Psychology (Lifespan Development)
Developmental psychology is the scientific field dedicated to studying development throughout an individual's entire life. While it includes the study of physical maturation, its scope is much broader than just the physical changes associated with aging. Developmental psychologists also investigate changes in cognitive skills, moral reasoning, social behavior, and various other psychological attributes over the lifespan.
