Fairness Criterion: Non-Monetary Factors

Substantive fairness can also be evaluated using non-monetary criteria. These alternative measures might include assessing whether an allocation results in unequal levels of personal freedom for the individuals in a strategic interaction, or if it leads to significant differences in their happiness.
