Short Answer

Fairness in Shared Responsibilities

Two roommates agree to divide household chores based on an equal number of hours worked per week. One roommate is assigned tasks they find enjoyable, such as cooking and gardening. The other roommate is assigned tasks they strongly dislike, such as cleaning the bathroom and taking out the trash. Both spend exactly the same amount of time on their chores. From the perspective of substantive fairness, analyze this arrangement using a non-monetary criterion and explain whether the outcome could be considered unfair.
