  • RQ1: “Were there any significant differences between knowledgeable and nonknowledgeable participants assigned to the hierarchical hypertext, the mixed hypertext, and a traditional linear text with respect to reading comprehension scores?”
  • RQ2: “Were there any significant differences between knowledgeable and nonknowledgeable participants assigned to the hierarchical hypertext, the mixed hypertext, and a traditional linear text with respect to perceived control?
  • RQ3: “Were there any significant differences between knowledgeable and nonknowledgeable participants assigned to the hierarchical hypertext and the mixed hypertext documents with respect to the number of different nodes during reading?”
