Mindfulness and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy: Relaxing and Improving Self-Regulation
Both MBIs and CBT include relaxation and the improval of self-regulation as components of treatment, but it is unclear whether this is due to specific shared aspects of the two treatments, or of the concept of therapy as a whole. Though now with current research, it is shown that the combination of both MBIs and CBT as MBCT has quicker results in both relaxation and self-regulation when combined.
