Puerperal Sepsis
Puerperal Sepsis is most often caused by the pathogen Streptococcus pyogenes, but can also be caused by Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Enterococcus spp., Chlamydia spp., Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp., Proteus spp., Peptostreptococcus spp., Bacteroides spp., and Clostridium spp.
