  • Participants disclosed demographic information pertaining to race, family income, financial aid, and if they have contracted COVID-19 during the pandemic.

Information was collected via a 16-item self-administered online survey:

  • Information collected included included demographic information, and how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted their financial status, educational experience, and mental well-being.
  • Participants were also asked if they personally experienced or witnessed acts of racial discrimination as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
