[ICD-11] 24. Factors Influencing Health Status or Contact with Health Services

Description:

  • Occasions when circumstances other than a disease, injury, or external cause is recorded as a diagnosis or a problem. This may include encounters with health services for purposes such as receiving limited care or service for a current condition, to donate organs or tissues, to receive prophylactic vaccinations, or to discuss a problem that is not a disease, injury, or external cause. Additionally, situations in which a person’s health is influenced by circumstantial factors not directly related to a disease, injury, or external cause which may or may not result in the person being sick or requiring care are also included.
