Life Change Units (LCUs)
Life Change Units (LCUs) are the numerical scores assigned to each of the 43 events on the Social Readjustment Rating Scale (SRRS). These values, ranging from 11 to 100, represent the mean scores derived from estimates provided by 394 participants regarding the amount of readjustment required for each life event. Each LCU score quantifies the perceived magnitude of change associated with a specific event.
