Quantifying Julia's Intrinsic Impatience via Point B'

Julia's intrinsic impatience can be quantified by observing her indifference between two points. She considers receiving $100 in the future (point A) to provide the same level of utility as receiving approximately half of that amount, or $50, in the present (point B'). [3] Because both points lie on the same indifference curve, they are equally preferable to her. This equivalence demonstrates her inherent preference for present consumption over future consumption.
