Self-Regulated Learning in Online Settings
Since self-regulated learning requires an active process on the behalf of the learner. But virtual settings make this active learning more difficult, as many of the engagement strategies used in the physical classroom are not available online. So, it has been discovered that there is less use of SRL strategies in online learning, which can have adverse effects on student performance.
