Stimulus-Response Bonds in Classical Conditioning

Ivan Pavlov's experiments demonstrated that classical conditioning is the process through which stimulus-response bonds are formed. This occurs when an organism learns to associate two events that repeatedly happen together, causing a reflexive response to one stimulus to become associated with a different, previously neutral stimulus.
