The Hypothetico-Deductive Method

The hypothetico-deductive method is a fundamental framework used by psychologists and other scientists to structure their research. In this cyclical process, researchers construct or utilize existing theories to interpret phenomena, derive specific hypotheses from those theories, conduct empirical tests, and ultimately reevaluate the original theories based on the new results.
