Concept
Training and Employment Aspirations
Participants in the survey received training in areas like computing, leadership, and creative arts. However, they struggled to use these skills consistently in their jobs. Visually impaired women often end up working in less diverse fields, particularly in education. NGOs and government programs provide this training, giving hope for better job opportunities. Many prefer teaching jobs because they see them as stable, respected, and offering good pension benefits. However, exploring a wider range of career options could lead to greater personal satisfaction and more opportunities.
