Visually Impaired Women: Surprising Skills

Women with visual impairments in Nepal often face underestimation, despite possessing a variety of skills. Many of them succeed in teaching, music, and writing. However, society often holds superstitious beliefs that see disability as punishment for past actions. These women not only have special talents but also the ability to help their families and communities. The survey shows that many women are happy with their jobs, but there are not enough opportunities available, leading to wasted potential. It is important for society to recognize their skills and provide chances for growth and contribution.
