Understanding the Study's Aim
This investigation looks at violence against women with disabilities in Chinese communities. It combines surveys of 80 women to see how often and what kinds of violence happen, along with interviews that share personal stories of those who have faced partner violence. The results show that many of these women experience domestic violence, sexual harassment, and abuse, but rarely seek help. The study highlights the urgent need to recognize the violence these women endure and calls for a better approach to address their challenges, including social stigma and reliance on their abusers.
